Billing References

Billing References are identifiers that can be added to a background check order. At the end of the month when invoices are generated, your invoice will be sub-totaled by billing reference allowing you to track expenses for campuses, groups, teams, departments etc. 

Create Billing References

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Select Billing References

Step 3: Click + New Billing Reference

Step 4: Add Billing Reference name and Save

Use Billing References with Background Checks

When placing an order for a background check, select the desired billing reference from the drop-down.

Note: If your account uses "auto order" for background checks, be sure to select the billing reference when sending the link to the applicant. This will associate the desired billing reference with their order.
